AARP Tax Help

Volunteer tax preparers from AARP will be available to assist low- and middle-income patrons, with special attention paid to those aged 60 and older. This year, volunteers will scan all tax documents and prepare the tax return remotely. Please bring to your appointment current tax records and a copy of last year's state and federal tax returns. Also, please be sure to bring the completed intake form that you will receive after making your appointment. Returns will take about a week to prepare and will be email to taxpayers, who must approve them before they are e-filed.

AARP Volunteers cannot prepare returns that include rental property, military income, alternative minimum tax or those with many stock transactions.
