How to Access Virtual Programs

The library is offering several types of virtual programs. Some are recorded and some are live. The road to these programs begins on our website calendar, which can be found at https://shpl.info/events/month. Please note that advanced registration will be required for some live events.

To watch a recorded program, go to the event on our website calendar and you will see the actual video and/or links to the video on YouTube or Facebook. You do not need a Facebook account to see the video; just shoo away the “create account” requests that pop up.

To watch a live event, go to the event on our website calendar. If registration is required, you must sign up with a valid email so that we can send you the meeting information the day prior to the event starting. If it is a recurring program, such as an exercise class, do not delete the email, as you will use the same log-in for each session.

Some programs are live on Zoom or Go-to-Meeting and do not require pre-registration.
If registration is not required, you will find the meeting links and any passwords required in the event description.

You may be prompted to install the Zoom or Go to Meeting apps; follow the simple instructions on the screen. If your computer does not have speakers or a microphone, you can dial into the meeting on your phone, using the phone number provided in the event description.

Please text or email us if you need more information or assistance.
