August 2023 - New Movies & TV Releases

Hot summer months are a great time to see a new movie at the theater or enjoy the movies being released on video this month in the comfort of your own home.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his band of misfits to defend the universe along with protecting one of their own. If the mission is not completed successfully, it could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.

The Flash

Worlds collide when the Flash uses his superpowers to travel back in time to change the events of the past. However, when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, he becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation. With no other superheroes to turn to, the Flash looks to coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian -- albeit not the one he's looking for.

About My Father

The film centers around Sebastian (Maniscalco) who is encouraged by his fiancée (Leslie Bibb) to bring his immigrant, hairdresser father, Salvo (De Niro), to a weekend get-together with her super-rich and exceedingly eccentric familyThe weekend develops into what can only be described as a culture clash, leaving Sebastian and Salvo to discover that the great thing about family is everything about family.

The Blackening

A group of Black friends reunite for a Juneteenth weekend getaway only to find themselves trapped in a remote cabin with a twisted killer. The Blackening skewers genre tropes and poses the sardonic question: if the entire cast of a horror movie is Black, who dies first?

You Hurt My Feelings

A film about trust, lies, and the things we say to the people we love most.

No Hard Feelings
