April Community Service for SHPL residents currently in Grades 6-12

Registration is not required for the program below; however, participants in this passive program must have SHPL library cards and be currently in grades 6-12. This opportunity are available from April 1-28. We will email you a community service certificates within 2 weeks. 

April Monthly Community Service: Mental Health Awareness 

Create an advertisement or a message of positivity for our YA display in May for Mental Health Awareness month.  Check our calendar to download the instructions to make your creation, print it out and hand it in by April 28 to receive up to one hour of community service.

Community service opportunities are also available as registered programs in our monthly and weekly newsletters. Check our library program calendar to see what is available. The majority of these programs require registration with a valid SHPL card in the participant’s name and are available to those in grades 6-12. Other opportunities are available to those who attend our monthly Teen Advisory Board meetings.  Questions? Please ask!
