February Community Service for SHPL residents currently in Grades 6-12

Registration is not required for the programs below; however, participants in these passive programs must have SHPL library cards and be currently in grades 6-12. These opportunities are available from February 1-28. We will email you a community service certificates within 2 weeks. 

Please email the below community service activities to youthconnection@shpl.info with the title “COMMUNITY SERVICE” in the subject line. Include the following information to not delay your community service:

  • Your SHPL library barcode ( it starts with 20652…)
  • your first and last name
  • grade 
  • school 

February Monthly Community Service: Summer Experience Survey

From February 1-28 earn 1 hour of community service by telling us all about what you are looking forward to doing this summer at the library! From programs to raffle prizes and everything in between, make your opinion heard by the Teen Department!  Visit our website and fill out the online form and receive a maximum of 1 hour of community service.

Community service opportunities are also available as registered programs in our monthly and weekly newsletters. Check our library program calendar to see what is available. The majority of these programs require registration with a valid SHPL card in the participant’s name and are available to those in grades 6-12. Other opportunities are available to those who attend our monthly Teen Advisory Board meetings.  Questions? Please ask!
