January Monthly Community Service: Valentines for Veterans

Show your appreciation for our military heroes by creating 2 Valentine’s Day cards which will be delivered to veterans at the Northport VA Center. Print out the Valentine template on the calendar, decorate, write a message on the inside, and bring to the YA Library by February 6. Make 2 Valentines to receive 1 hour of community service. A maximum of two hours of community service.

Community service opportunities are also available as registered programs in our monthly and weekly newsletters. Check our library program calendar to see what is available. The majority of these programs require registration with a valid SHPL card in the participant’s name and are available to those in grades 6-12. Other opportunities are available to those who attend our monthly Teen Advisory Board meetings.  Questions? Please ask!
