South Huntington Public Library 2021 Summer Reading Challenge

Starting June 26, you can sign up for our summer reading challenge here.

It's easy and fun! Children (ages 2 to entering grade 6) will read or listen to any 8 books and earn prizes.

Here's how to participate:

1. Visit the library's website for a link to Beanstack online or download the free app. Or, visit

the library to pick up a paper reading log.

2. Register, or sign-in if you've used Beanstack before.

3. Find great book suggestions on our Summer Reading book lists. You can visit the

library to borrow books or  request books using Bookmatch.

4. Read and log 8 books. You'll earn a prize and a raffle ticket for every book you read. You can

put your raffle tickets toward any of these grand prizes: an Amazon Fire 7 Kids Tablet, a

Waterproof Camera with Video Recorder, a Tabletop Air Hockey Table, a Star Wars Coding Kit,

a Magformers Magnetic Toy, or a Preschool Gardening Tool Set and Coloring Book.

5. Pick up your prizes at the South Huntington Public Library!

The challenge ends on August 21.
