NY Project Hope - Coping with COVID

The South Huntington Public Library is dedicated to helping the community by providing resources for those dealing with COVID-19.

NY Project Hope is a program of the NYS Office of Mental Health, funded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and administered by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.  Through an emotional support helpline, educational materials, and trusted referrals, NY Project Hope helps people manage and cope with changes brought on by COVID-19.

Call the Emotional Support Helpline at 1-844-863-9314 to talk with trained crisis counselors. They are there to listen, support and offer referrals from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week. Talking to them is free, confidential and anonymous.
