NEW TITLES COMING SOON - DECEMBER 2020

The latest entry in James Patterson’s true crime books is ready in time to commemorate the 40th anniversary of John Lennon’s assassination. The Last Days of John Lennon, researched from interviews, chronicles Lennon’s final days. In addition, Patterson’s NYPD Red 6 is set to drop in mid-December.

Marie Benedict, the author of Carnegie’s Maid, gives us another intriguing historical fiction book, The Mystery of Mrs. Christie, based on Agatha Christie and her mysterious 11-day disappearance in 1926, when her empty car was found at the edge of a deep, gloomy pond. What happened to Agatha?

Another historical fiction book, The Chanel Sisters by Judithe Little, tells the story of Antoinette and Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel, who rose from poverty to open a boutique business that expanded to glamorous French resort towns.

We get some appropriately chilly thrillers from Christina Dodd (Wrong Alibi: An Alaskan Mystery), Karen Harper (Under the Alaskan Ice), and Greer Macallister (The Arctic Fury).

Jane Smiley’s new book, Perestroika in Paris, has been called a “brilliantly imaginative story of three extraordinary animals--and a young boy--whose lives intersect in Paris.”

Lars Kepler, Nora Roberts, Stuart Woods, and many others have provided plenty of thrills and twists to keep you in a cozy chair and reading throughout December! See the full list here.
