Out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our community & to help limit the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), the library will remain closed until further notice. We are unaware of any confirmed COVID-19 cases originating at the library.

During this time, patrons may keep their library materials at home without late fines. There is no need to return items during the building closure. Remember the Library provides a wide array of online services, including free ebooks, audiobooks, movies, magazines and more, available 24/7.

Safe Talk Wednesdays is a collaboration between the South Huntington Public Library and The Huntington Youth Bureau's Project Sanctuary. It is a 2 hour window on Wednesday afternoons where youth can come talk to qualified counselors and social workers about school stress, family drama, personal challenges, problems with your friends or anything on your mind and gain the appropriate help or referral to someone who can assist.  This drop in program will include a bilingual social worker.  No registration is required.
