If you can't make a class for which you have registered your child, please call the Children's Desk at 631-549-4411 ext. 301 and let us know so that we can give the spot to a child on the waiting list. If you are more than 5 minutes late for a program and haven’t called to hold your child’s spot, we will assume you are not coming and will allow waiting patrons to attend.
Create the proper habitat for these magical creatures by providing them with nectar sources from appropriate flowers and sugar feeders. If you build the right garden for them, they will come!

Bi-lingual representatives from the Health and Welfare Council of Long Island will be in the library lobby to provide information about the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and assist with enrollment.

Photography
Staff may take photographs at library programs for use in library publicity. Please inform us if you do not want photos taken of you or your child.
The YA Library will provide extra tables and chairs for group study in support of our local students preparing for final and Regents exams. During these hours, gaming is suspended to maintain a quieter atmosphere.
