The Czechia capital goes by several names: City of a Hundred Spires, the Golden City, the Mother of Cities, the Heart of Europe and one-time co-base of the Holy Roman Empire. Its history is deep and varied; its sights are captivating. Prague is steeped in tradition while also thoroughly modern and quirky. The city’s architecture is a cornucopia of artistic expression, from old-world charm to an ultra-modern “dancing house.”

As far as its public artworks go, there’s everything from the Charles’ Bridge’s stern parade of saints to Franz Kafka’s huge revolving head, and even a king (that would be Wenceslas of Christmas carol fame!) riding an upside-down horse hung high in a shopping center! Join Jeanne Schnupp, the Savvy Sightseer, on this grand tour of captivating Prague.

All welcome!
