Program Description

Event Details

Would you like a low maintenance garden that looks good year-round and helps prevent water pollution? Rain gardens are shallow depressions designed to soak up water and support trees, shrubs and flowers that tolerate wet and dry conditions. Learn the best plants for your rain garden and local LI sources to help support your rain garden expenses. Presented by the experts from Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County live on Zoom.

For a list of rain garden plants, see attachment at right.

Register for Zoom link beginning April 8.

This program is hosted by the Elwood Library in partnership with the public libraries in the Town of Huntington.
