Event Details

Guest speaker Mike Fitzpatrick will give a presentation on Confederate General Patrick Cleburne.  Born in Ireland and trained as a pharmacist, he was one of the most popular Confederate generals in the Western Theater, advocating for freeing slaves who volunteered for the Confederacy.  He was killed along with five other Confederate generals at the Battle of Franklin, Tennessee in 1864. All welcome.
