Program Description

Event Details

Letterboxing, a fun and basically free hobby, is an excellent activity for social-distancing. All around Long Island, people have hidden beautifully carved stamps that you can find by working out some crafty clues, then add the image of the stamp to your log book. Along the way, you'll discover many of the wonderful parks, preserves, beaches and more, and since most of the stops are off the beaten path, social distancing is easy to maintain. Stops featured in this Savvy Sightseer program include Huntington, Plainview, Farmingville, Stony Brook and Smithtown.
