Program Description

Event Details

“Impresarios and Visionaries” is an entertaining and inspirational documentary that explores the positive influence that the arts have on community.  The film, by Emmy nominated filmmaker Steven Taub, celebrates respective co-founders Vic Skolnick of Cinema Arts Centre and Michael Rothbard of Inter-Media Arts Center (now The Paramount) both in Huntington -- two pioneers who were pivotal in establishing a cutting-edge arts scene in suburbia.

It features actor/filmmaker Ed Burns, musician David Bromberg, philanthropist/poet Sandy Chapin, radio personality John Platt and others. The 42-minute film screening will be followed by an interactive discussion. Join us!
