Program Description

Event Details

Create your own personal bag repurposed from unwanted clothing instead of discarding it. Designer Elizabeth will teach you how to cut and assemble, stencil, paint fabric and more. Bring in something old; leave with something new and super useful! No sewing needed. Registration begins April 12.

**Please bring in a shirt that may be a-

  • heavyweight tee shirt (preferably not a worn down thin quality)
  • lightweight sweatshirt/fleece top (ie: Hanes/Fruit of the Loom)
  • heavyweight tank top

Keep in mind, a larger size shirt will make a roomier bag. Your shirt will be cut apart, repurposed and hand painted art/applique technique. Tie dye, stripes, graphics or solid colors shirts will work, but NO zippers, strings or metal accents please. If you're unsure which types will work best; bring in 2 shirts and we'll figure it out which to use.
