The library co-sponsors this unique book discussion group with The Whaling Museum. This month's selection is An Immense World by Ed Yong. Have you ever wanted to see the world through the eyes of an animal? In An Immense World, science writer Ed Yong encourages us to explore beyond the limits of human senses to discover how animals perceive the world. Learn how turtles track magnetic fields, what exactly dolphins can sense with their echolocation and why giant squid need such enormous eyes. We'll also examine the incredible ways that marine mammals in particular adapt to their environment.  Pick up a print copy of the book at the Circulation Desk.

To register, CLICK HERE or call the museum at 631-367-3418. You will need a South Huntington Library card.

The discussion will be held at the museum, 279 Main Street, Cold Spring Harbor.
