Art Club: Vincent Van Gogh

Art Club is a fun and creative program which spotlights a different artist each week.  Kids will listen to a story and create their own works of art inspired by artists such as Jean-Michel Basquiat, Wassily Kandinsky, Gustav Klimt, Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Romare Bearden, and Vincent van Gogh.

Vincent Van Gogh was a Dutch artist of exceptional talent. While living in France, he was influenced by impressionist painters of the period yet developed his own instinctive, spontaneous style. Van Gogh became one of the most celebrated artists of the twentieth century and played a key role in the development of modern art. Listen to a story, learn about van gogh's life and art techniques, and create your own work of art inspired by him.
