Art Club: Takashi Murakami (L)

Art Club is a fun and creative program that spotlights a different artist each week.  Kids will learn about various artists and create their own works of art inspired by these artists.

Takashi Murakami creates paintings, sculptures, and films populated by repeated motifs and characters of his own creation.  His wide-ranging work is influenced by traditional Japanese painting, sci-fi, anime, and the global art market, embodying an intersection of pop culture, history, and fine art.  Learn about the artist and create your own work of art inspired by him.  Register beginning April 21.
