Program Description

Event Details

Art Club is a fun and creative program which spotlights a different artist each week. Kids will listen to a story and create their own works of art inspired by artists such as Keith Haring, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Claude Monet, Yayoi Kusama and Romero Britto.

Roy Lichtenstein was a painter and master of "Pop Art" known for his brightly colored imagery and graphics that resembled comic strips. Listen to a story, learn about Lichtenstein's life and art techniques, and create your own work of art inspired by Roy Lichtenstein.

Register online and pick up your art kit at the Children's Desk beginning November 13.
