Program Description

Event Details

Art Club is a fun and creative program which spotlights a different artist each week.  Kids will listen to a story and create their own works of art inspired by artists such as Jean-Michel Basquiat, Wassily Kandinsky, Gustav Klimt, Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Romare Bearden, and Vincent van Gogh.

Pablo Picasso was a Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist and stage designer considered one of the greatest and most influential artists of the 20th century. Picasso is credited as one of the creators of the artistic movement known as Cubism. Listen to a story, learn about Picasso's life and art techniques, and create your own work of art inspired by him.

Register online and pick up your art kit at the Children's Desk beginning March 26.
