Art Club: Nikki McClure (In-person)

Art Club is a fun and creative program which spotlights a different artist each week.  Kids will listen to a story and create their own works of art inspired by artists such as Ansel Adams, Ashley Bryan, Nikki McClure, Ruth Asawa, Banksy, Piet Mondrian, Marc Chagall, Joseph Cornell, Alexander Calder, Gyo Fujikawa, Bill Cunningham, and Edward Hopper.

Nikki McClure is a papercut artist and writer.  She is the author and illustrator of numerous children's books, produces annual calendars, and creates art installations throughout the country.  McClure cuts images from black paper with an X-acto knife.  Listen to a story, learn about McClure's life and art techniques, and create your own work of art inspired by her art.
