Art Club: Friedensreich Hundertwasser (L)

Art Club is a fun and creative program which spotlights a different artist each week.  Kids will learn about various artists and create their own works of art inspired by these artists.

Friedensreich Hundertwasser was a painter, architect, ecological activist and philosopher.  Through his art, he tried to reveal the possibilities of a better world with a safe environment and protected nature.  One of the central motifs of his colorful picture world is the spiral, which is a symbol of life and nature.  Learn about the artist and create your own work of art inspired by him.
