Event Details

Shibori dyeing is a thousand-year-old process from Japan that is the combination of origami and tie dye. Textile artist Oksana Danziger will teach different folding and indigo dyeing techniques like kanoko, miura and kumo to create stunning pieces. Participants will be provided four squares fabric to practice the techniques and are welcome to bring one garment, shirt, scarf or pillowcase (100% cotton) to dye. There is a $10 materials fee.
