Civil Rights Historian and former Motown executive Leon Burnette will present a virtual tour through the Mississippi Delta, emphasizing the importance of the Blues and their origin. The program will spotlight Blues musicians and civil rights activists who publicly supported the movement while working to raise worldwide awareness of the impoverished conditions in the Mississippi River Delta. Registration is required, and open to all.
