Event Details

Art Club is a fun and creative program which spotlights a different artist each week.  Kids will listen to a story and create their own works of art inspired by artists such as Ansel Adams, Ashley Bryan, Nikki McClure, Ruth Asawa, Banksy, Piet Mondrian, Marc Chagall, Joseph Cornell, Alexander Calder, Gyo Fujikawa, Bill Cunningham, and Edward Hopper.

Alexander Calder was an American sculptor known for both his innovative mobiles and public sculptures.  He also created paintings, jewelry, theater sets and costumes.  Learn about Calder’s life and art techniques, and create your own work of art inspired by him.

Register beginning December 10.
