    Details : Bob Keeler retired at the end of 2012 after a 42 years as a reporter, editor, and editorial writer at Newsday. He won a Pulitzer Prize for beat reporting in 1996. He is working on his fourth book, "Sacred Soldier: The Dangers of Worshiping Warriors." On the anniversary of this horrific day, he will describe attitudes toward our military in the post-9/11 era. Co-sponsored with The Men's Group of the Greens. All welcome.

  7. Learn to Speak English

    Details : Adults who want to learn English are invited to participate in free ESL classes. Taught by a native English speaker, the classes are designed to help new English speakers practice and improve basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills in English, in a casual and fun environment. The classes are free and open to all.
