  1. Register for Teddy Bear Sleepover on 7/26
    Time : 9:30 AM

    Details : Put on your pajamas, grab a plush buddy, and head to the library for an evening of games, stories, and snacks. Then, your buddy will stay overnight for a special sleepover. Pick up your buddy on Saturday after 11 a.m. and find out what happens at the library after the lights go out! Register July 12.
  2. A Time for Kids
    Time : 10:00 AM
    Location : Program Room
    Details : Enjoy a series of fun, educational classes for preschoolers ages 18 months - 5 years (not yet in Kindergarten) and an adult caregiver. This is a skill building, interactive class that will help prepare your child for independent learning experiences. Register July 5.
  3. Color Your World Adult Coloring
    Time : 10:00 AM
    Location : Meeting Room
    Details : Who says coloring is just for kids? Let your creative juices flow and color something beautiful while you socialize and meet others in the community. The library will provide coloring pages and pencils, but feel free to bring your own.
  4. Drop-In and Play
    Time : 12:00 PM
    Location : Program Room
    Details : Get out of the house, meet other parents and kids and have fun playing and talking together. It's a great way to meet other families in our community. Stay for as long or as little as you like.

  6. Outta This World S'mores Parfaits
    Time : 7:00 PM
    Location : Young Adult Room
    Details : Join Chef Rob and play space games and make a s'mores parfait. Everyone attending this class will have a chance to win an autographed John Glenn photo at the end of the summer. Registration begins July 1.
  7. Summer Concert: Milagro
    Time : 7:00 PM
    Location : Outdoor Garden
    Details : Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Woodstock with a tribute to Santana, who played on Saturday, August 16, 1969 -- an 8-song set that launched their career. South Huntington cardholders can get free tickets for seating in the garden beginning June 7. Tickets are valid until 6:50 p.m. when non-ticket holders will be seated, if there is space. You do not need a ticket to sit on the upper lawn; bring a blanket or chair. In the event of rain, we move inside to the theater.
