  1. Intermediate Tai Chi

    Details : Certified instructor Rosanne Pawluk will lead you in the classic Yang 24 Form as she helps you deepen and refine your practice. The class will also feature a short meditation. There is a $55 fee, payable at registration beginning Feb. 6 for South Huntington cardholders; others Feb. 13.
  2. So Big!

    Details : Look, listen, and have fun with songs, stories, and movement activities. When storytime is over there will be 20 minutes of playtime with age-appropriate toys. Siblings welcome. Registration begins April 3.
  3. Next Chapter Book Club
    Time : 10:30 AM
    Location : Young Adult Room
    Details : This group is for adults (19 and older) with intellectual and developmental disabilities to gather in a relaxed setting to form lasting friendships through reading aloud and talking about books. Anyone can participate., regardless of their reading level. This group is facilitated by trained volunteers.   4. Book Talk Reading Club

    Details : Moderator Helen Harris will lead a discussion of this year's Long Island Reads selection, Spaceman: An Astronaut's Unlikely Journey to Unlock the Secrets of the Universe, by Long Island native Mike Massimino. Multiple copies of the book will be available at the Circulation desk. New participants, listeners welcome.

    Details : End your day on a positive note with a yoga routine led by instructor Augusta Berner. There is a $24 fee, payable at registration beginning Feb. 6 for South Huntington cardholders; others Feb. 13.
  6. Open Crochet Night with Joanne

    Location : Program Room
    Details : Join Jo Cohen for Open Crochet Night! Can't figure out the next line on a pattern? Maybe you have a closet full of UFOs (unfinished objects) or some WIPs ( work in progress). Bored and want to learn something new? Let's tackle all of those topics and more! All skill levels are welcome. There is a $5 fee, payable at registration beginning April 3 for South Huntington cardholders; others April 10.
  7. Teen Advisory Board
    Time : 7:00 PM
    Location : Young Adult Room
    Details : The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is an active organization made up of teens in grades 6-12 who work together to make a difference in our library. They help decide what materials should be purchased, plan programs and work on special projects. Meetings are usually held on the third Tuesday night of the month at 7pm. Community service hours are provided. New members are always welcome!
