    Details : Certified instructor Rosanne Pawluk will teach the classic Yang 24 Form practiced in the US and China. The gentle flowing movements of tai chi aim to increase balance, flexibility and relaxation, and improve overall mind, body and spirit. There is a $47 fee for this 9-session class, payable at registration beginning Feb. 5 for South Huntington cardholders; others Feb. 12.

    Details : Learn numbers, colors, and farm animals in Spanish through songs and crafts. Register April 2.
  7. HOMEWORK HELP AT THE SOUTH HUNTINGTON LIBRARY

    Location : Young Adult Room
    Details : High School students will assist children in the community with their homework assignments in the YA Library. Parents/Caregivers must remain in the building during the program. Help is offered on a first come, first served basis. This program will be on January 22, 29, February 5, 12, 26, March 5, 12, 26 and April 9, 16, 23,30.
  8. Advanced Writing: Next Chapters

    Details : This 6-week class is for those who are working on existing projects, either fiction or memoir. Through group discussion and constructive critique, participants will take their work to the next level. Taught by New York Times best-selling author and award-winning journalist Robbie Woliver, who also teaches writing at SUNY Farmingdale. There is a $25 fee. South Huntington registers Feb. 5, others Feb. 12.
