  7. Flu Shot Clinic

    Details : Pharmacists from Rite-Aid will be on hand to administer flu and pneumonia shots. Medicare Part B covers the flu shots for seniors, and most private insurers do as well. If not, there is a fee of $34.99 for the flu shot. Coverage for the pneumonia shot varies by insurer.

  9. YA Toastmasters- Youth Leadership Program
    Time : 6:30 PM
    Location : Meeting Room
    Details : Every young person has the potential to become a good communicator and leader, but this potential needs to be developed. This program's unique workshop-style design enables participants to overcome nervousness, organize and present ideas, listen to others' ideas and and constructively participate in group discussions! This program is sponsored by Toastmasters International and will meet September 28, October 5, 12, 19 and a final presentation on October 26. Registration is September 14 for SHPL cardholders and September 21 for all others. For those in grades 9-12.
  10. Haunted Hotels of the Catskills

    Details : Author and historian Monica Randall is back to take us on a spooky tour of sprawling grand hotels of yesteryear. Always a desirable vacation locale for the rich and middle class; then during Prohibition, a playground for gangsters and bootleggers, Monica will show us the great hotels and luxury resorts of the past century as well as the haunting ruins that remain today. All welcome!
